Memorial Day is a special day to remember the sacrifice others have made and to try and to work on making a positive impact in our own lives. Celebrate this day on May 29th and participate in The Life Time triathlon, which attracts all levels of athletes from top ranked professionals to first-time triathletes. The event includes the USA Paratriathlon National Championship, First Tri distance and sprint, sprint and international distances, and international distance relays.

A Beautiful Course

Life Time Tri CapTex begins with a nice swim in Lady Bird Lake. After T1, athletes will exit the northeast corner of transition, loop around the parking lot, then climb the S. 1st Street bridge. After crossing the bridge, cyclists head north to the Texas Capitol, return through downtown Austin on Congress Avenue and head west along Cesar Chavez Blvd and Lady Bird Lake, just past the MoPac Expressway, and back to the S. 1st Street Bridge. The run course loops through Butler Park and the Palmer Events Center before the rousing finish. There will then be a lively post-race party at Auditorium Shores.
