Community Events

  1. A Night in Monte Carlo: Hotel Ella (1900 Rio Grande) will be hosting a Night in Monte Carlo from now until November 11th. The event takes place from 7pm until 11pm and you can find out more details by calling 512-470-8272. Admission is $175 and you can enjoy a casino night and cocktail party in the Hotel Ella ballroom. On November 11th there will be an open bar, silent auction, performances, and more.
  2. American Flags Exhibit: The Bullock Texas State History Museum will be hosting an exhibit dedicated to American flags from now until January 16th, 2017. The museum is located at 1800 N Congress Avenue. You can find out more details by calling 512-936-8746. The collection includes flags memorabilia, and original artwork.
  3. Ceromantia: The Mexican American Cultural Center (600 River Street) will be featuring an exhibit dedicated to the works of Roberto Mungua from now until November 22nd. The exhibit is open daily from 10m until 6pm. His work consists of unique patterns of irregular shapes and colors.
  4. Fun Art Artists and Cartoonists Exhibit: The Hampton Branch Library at Oak Hill (5125 Convict Hill Road) will be hosting the Artists and Cartoonists Exhibit daily from now until November 30th. You can always call 512-335-4224 for more details. The exhibit features “Fun Art” and admission is free!
