Are you a fan of art? Are you and your family interested in seeing the work by some of Austin’s premiere artists? Art City Austin, the community’s three-day art fair and festival, is returning for its 67th year March 31 –April 2, 2017 at the Palmer Event Center. This historic event is a celebrated combination of street art and contemporary art from local and national artists, helping it maintain its designation as one of Austin’s annual Art events of the year.
A Work Of Supreme Beauty
There is expected to be around 125 individual artists from across the country who will showcase their works on the beautiful festival grounds of the Palmer, plus an art fair inside the exhibition hall will contain 20 galleries that will have traveled from throughout Texas.
The Art City Austin festival grounds will also feature a number of interesting attractions including art installations created by local artists and commissioned specifically for this event by Art Alliance Austin. Noteworthy artists attending this year include award-winning photographer Clifton Henri, Austin fine jewelry designer Haley Lebeuf, and Jay Long, a veteran Art City Austin artist.
